First off - I am sure you mean MFD and not MCD.
I have no idea about the CD changer, but since your old navigation unit is a Blaupunkt there is a good chance that the MFD will also work with it.
The MFD supports changing BASS and TREBBLE settings. Myself I am quite content with the MFD audio capabilities, but on the other hand I do not need a lot of Watts to be happy. Again since both are Blaupunkt I am sure their audio capabilties are quite similar.
