I have had Sat Nav Plus in my S3 for almost a year, and everything has been fine, until a couple of weeks ago, that stared working VERY SLOWLY, and sometimes would calculate, taking very long. Also, when looking for names of towns and streets, takes too long. Is there a way of fixing this?? Any help would be appreciated.

Ich habe gesessenes Nav Plus in meinem S3 für fast ein Jahr gehabt, und alles ist, bis vor einigen Wochen, der SEHR LANGSAM arbeitend stared, und manchmal würde errechnen fein gewesen und sehr lang genommen. Auch wenn, nach Namen der Städte und der Straßen suchend, nimmt zu lang. Gibt es eine Weise der Befestigung dieses?? Jede mögliche Hilfe würde geschätzt.

Hi Mark,
have you tried to remove the cd and cleaned it? If there is dust on the surface (especialy in connection with humidity) the CD-ROM inside Navi PLUS has problems in reading.
Are you smoking in your car?

Yes, I have tried cleaning the CD ROM, but nothing improved, how could I clean the lens of the CD ROM reader???? Today, the SatNAv showed a message, saying it could not read the CD ROM.... I really believe the lens may be dirty.......
FYI: Nobody smokes, and no one has ever smoked in my car.....

Tahnx Claus, that is exactly what I will be doing tomorrow, will use a CD lens cleaner, and see what happens. If it does not work, I will take it to Audi for inspection. I will let you know if the CD lens cleaner solves the problem.
