Hi ,i have try to update the vw mfd1 D version ,now he give on screen software download,and he accept any update ,how i can solve this problem.i will pay for the solution.

Hi Erwin, welcome on board You tried to upload the "speller" update. Many others got the same problem in the past. If you would ask the searchfunction of this board, you'll find posts like THIS. If you want, you can send me your navi, add some bricks of chocolat (Milka) and the shipping costs back to you, I shall try to fix the unit for you. Greetings Klaus

Hi Klaus. Here in Italy we have Milka and Novi Chocolate .... I'm very interested to know how you can regenerate from this apparently crash situation of the navi. Have you a particular tool ? Can you share to me these informations ? Thanks a lot, Enrico.

Hi Enrica,

if an update crashes, you need to rewrite the flash memory externaly. To do so, you need some verry special (and expencive) software, a special hardware adapter and the infos of what do do.
I'm not interested in share these things, because some of us spend a lot of time to find out how it works and we don't want others to make profit out of it i.e. at Ebay.
If you have a broken Navi, you can send it to me and I will fix it for you.
